From my earliest memories of drawing in the wet beach sands, my life has been defined by the act of 'making marks.' Today, I share that lifelong joy with a global audience from my studio in Cape Town—a creative sanctuary I am privileged to share with my father.

My work is a deep-rooted dialogue with the South African wild, inspired by the intricate systems of ecology and the quirky characters of the bushveld. Having been introduced to watercolors in a Waldorf kindergarten, the medium feels like a natural extension of my breath as it were. I embrace its inherent unpredictability; it is a collaborative alchemy where I must surrender to the water and pigments, allowing the ebbs and flows of life to take shape on the page.

A 2010 Fine Arts graduate from the Ruth Prowse School of Art, Cape Town, my background in mixed-media sculptural installation and interior design continues to inform my practice.
